A genuine Late Bronze Age copper-alloy harness toggle fitting, discovered by a metal detectorist in Lavenham, Suffolk, England, and recorded by the UK Portable Antiquities Scheme.

This ARTEFACT design turns a real archaeological find into a bold museum-meets-streetwear statement for people who value the story more than the trophy.

THE STORY BEHIND THE FIND
This cast copper-alloy fitting dates to c. 1100–1000 BC and formed part of composite horse harness equipment. It is a circular toggle with a central perforation and an attachment loop projecting from the top edge. The artefact is associated with Late Bronze Age harness sets and reflects the equipment used for chariot ponies during the Wilburton phase.

THE DESIGN
Built in the “A Fragment of Time” layout, the print combines a large central artefact image, measured dimensions, a grid-tech backdrop, and the vertical detectorist mark:
“FOUND WITH A METAL DETECTOR”

The lower “passport” panel lists ARTEFACT, MATERIAL, DATE, REGION, and the UK PAS Find ID — like a museum label rebuilt as modern streetwear.
