A genuine Iron Age penannular brooch, discovered by a metal detectorist in Poyntington, Dorset, England, and recorded by the UK Portable Antiquities Scheme.

THE STORY BEHIND THE FIND
This copper-alloy penannular brooch dates to around AD 50 and was formed from a single piece of faceted metal bent into shape. Its terminals turn outward and end in rounded knobs, each marked by an incised line around the circumference. The original pin is missing, but the brooch still preserves the strong and practical character of late Iron Age personal dress.

THE DESIGN
Built in the “A Fragment of Time” format, the print combines a technical catalogue layout, dimensional data, a UK location marker, and the vertical detectorist mark:
“FOUND WITH A METAL DETECTOR”

The lower “passport” panel lists ARTEFACT, MATERIAL, DATE, REGION, and the UK PAS Find ID — like a museum label rebuilt as modern streetwear.
