A genuine Middle Bronze Age copper-alloy palstave, discovered by a metal detectorist in Llanystumdwy, Gwynedd, Wales, and recorded by the UK Portable Antiquities Scheme.

This ARTEFACT design turns a real archaeological find into a bold museum-meets-streetwear statement for people who value the story more than the trophy.

THE STORY BEHIND THE FIND
This incomplete cast copper-alloy palstave dates to c. 1500–1150 BC. It has raised flange facets, a damaged butt, and visible evidence of casting flaws within the metal. It was found while searching with a metal detector and recorded as a PAS find of regional importance.

THE DESIGN
Built in the “A Fragment of Time” layout, the print combines front and side views, measured dimensions, a grid-tech backdrop, and the vertical detectorist mark:
“FOUND WITH A METAL DETECTOR”

The lower “passport” panel lists ARTEFACT, MATERIAL, DATE, REGION, and the UK PAS Find ID — like a museum label rebuilt as modern streetwear.
