THE STORY BEHIND THE FIND
For detectorists, the aluminium ring-pull is instantly recognisable. It is not ancient, rare, or valuable — and that is exactly why it belongs here. It represents the everyday reality of the hobby: uncertain signals, small hopes, repeated surprises, and the discipline to dig properly even when the result is ordinary.
In that sense, the ring-pull is almost a badge of experience. Every detectorist knows it. Every detectorist has dug it. And every detectorist understands the quiet joke behind it.
THE DESIGN
This design uses the “Detectorist’s Find” format — simple, minimal, and direct. The ring-pull is presented as a labelled object, stripped back and isolated, with the vertical line:

The layout treats an everyday target with the same visual seriousness normally reserved for historical finds. That contrast is the whole point: from gold to “trash”, the culture of detecting is built on all of it.
